Jesus seems to have consistently deflected authority structure questions (mostly of the "please put me high in the hierarchy" variety) into "attitude with which you exercise authority"questions. We still, though, tend to major on getting structure "right" while giving at best lip service to godly, servant attitude in exercising authority. The latter is, of course, backwards.
