Thank you again for this wonderful series.. You both are absolutely correct in that the small things are what make community. Many times we have been blessed to be on the receiving end. Just one recent example is when I underwent my fifth foot surgery. My husband does not know his way around a kitchen but he can pray a really good prayer. We signed onto the Council on Aging meals which came Monday through Friday. What to do on the weekend when I was so incapacitated? A dear woman appeared whom I like to believe was sent by God, and brought us meals every weekend for four weeks until I could be on my feet again. She was Jesus to us in the flesh. It was actually a Holy experience in my mind. God took care of us and that is only one example of God taking care of us in our lives. The things we do for others is the strongest witness to the Faith that we have and can utilize.
