Worlds of Logical Difference: Richard Dawkins vs. the Cross

David F. Watson has responded to a now viral tweet by famed atheist, Richard Dawkins to a woman who wonders about having a baby with Down Syndrome:


Watson, who has a special needs child, responds in his usual erudite fashion and I encourage you to read his post.

But, the point I want to make is that I know more than a few Christians who would side with Dawkins on this, which continues to confirm my insistence that modern secularism is all too often more influential on too many Christians' ethics than their Christian convictions.

It is easy to be a utilitarian when one believes in nothing. In this case, one has to wonder how immorality can be calculated in a moral vacuum.
