It was President Jimmy Carter's AG who issued the judgment that led to the nonsense that is currently being sponsored by the Tea Party Republicans. The long view of history is so enlightening. Most partisans-- the loony left and the wacky right-- are not really interested in the long view of history. It messes with their unexamined worldview.
