Ancient Heresies in Modern Clothes

I hope you can join us on October 22 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Ancient Heresies in Modern Clothes
Rev. Dr. Allan R. Bevere, Professional Fellow in Theology

From the continuing education catalog of Ashland Theological Seminary: Who does everyone believe Jesus was? Although the church has clearly defined orthodoxy, many theories continue to manifest themselves in our culture and sometimes in our churches. All the ancient Christological heresies of the church have modern counterparts. This seminar explores modern manifestations of ancient movements that the historical Church has identified as errant. We will explore how ancient views of Jesus (including some cults) line up.
