Thanks for sharing this, Allan. I haven't watched this film in years, and it reminds me why Jesus was so compelling

Matt:

This is one of the most moving scenes on the prodigal son I have ever watched.

I've never been a big fan of media portrayals of Jesus, but every now and then, some of the portrayals seem to be connected to what I experience as the spirit of the Christ. This is one of them, as it goes beyond a wooden figure speaking scripture. Instead, it gives us a context in which to bring this story into our hearts (and the acting is really not bad). There are a couple of other scenes from this film that I find compelling as well.
Thanks for sharing.
