2+2=19... Just Ask The New York Times

Here is one more reason why I do not trust the mainstream media to report on or to comment on religion.

Allan,
I'm with you. The media in general do a very poor job reporting on religion, science, and medicine. However, I would not use Fox News as an objective source for anything, in particular reporting on the real media.

Steve, I agree with you on Fox. Indeed, I see Fox as the right mirror image of the left's MSNBC. Neither network is very trustworthy.

The reason I linked to the article is the author, who is a respected author and commentator. He has written for many different very reputable publications. The fact that in this instance he has written for Fox is, I think, incidental in this case.

I realize that he is a conservative and therefore those on the left will casually dismiss him because of that. I think of course that is just as much of a mistake as someone on the right rejecting an editorial out of hand because it comes from someone on the left.

For me it is an issue of content first and foremost, not where it comes from though that is not irrelevant.
