Yesterday I posted ten books that I read in 2011. Today I am listing ten books I plan to read in 2012. They are presented in alphabetical order by author:
Kevin Belmonte, Defiant Joy: The Remarkable Life and Impact of G.K. Chesterton
David P. Goldman, How Civilizations Die (And Why Islam Is Dying Too)
John Gribbin, Alone in the Universe: Why Our Planet Is Unique
Stanley Hauerwas, War and the American Difference: Theological Reflections on Violence and National Identity
Scot McKnight, The King Jesus Gospel: The Original Good News Revisited
John Polkinghorne (editor), The Trinity and an Entangled World: Relationality in Physical Science and Theology
Ray Raphael, Founding Myths: Stories That Hide Our Patriotic Past
Claire Tomalin, Charles Dickens: A Life
What a great idea, Allan.
Sometimes I tell myself I'm going to read more next year, but I don't have concrete goals. This way, I know what it is I want to read and I can tell by the end of the year if I've reached my goal.
Thanks for the tip.
Blessings on your writing--and reading!
