Lanny Davis Has it Right on Health Care...

...in reference to how any health care bill must be bipartisan... and as usual, Ed Schultz gets it wrong.

The more Congress, pundits and zealots think that they can design the perfect system, the more trouble we are in.

Do what you can and move on.

If they're really going to create "change" and "reform" healthcare, then they should work on healthcare and not insurance. Insurance is not affordable because healthcare costs continue to suffer from double digit inflation.

Chuck,

I agree, which is why I think Davis is right. Let's do something bipartisan. That means everyone gets something of what they want and they have to deal with getting something they don't want-- and both political parties keep each other in check.

You are also correct in reference to health care costs, but insurance is also expensive because of the lack of competition. That needs to be addressed too.
