Bishop N.T. Wright on the Sacraments

Wow, this man preaches as powerfully and fluently as he writes his books. Even more so. Never heard him so far.
Years ago, I lived in England for a while, and I remember a ref. Graham or something, from Gold Hill Baptist Church, preach some good and powerful sermons. I must admit, such qualities are rare in The Netherlands. Why is this???
There is only one thing I didn't get from Wright's short sermon and that is his reference to giving water to the poor etc. from Matthew. I should think we could to with some good exegetics there, instead of assuming we all know and understand what Wright suggests by this...

I think Wright's reference was simply to reaching out and assisting those in need, but certainly more specifics would be helpful. Wright is more specific in other places.
