Report on Cuba #1

This is my first report on our church's mission trip to Cuba. As I have previously mentioned, I have been involved in teaching ministry there, offering theology and Bible courses to pastors of house churches, who have very little to no formal theological training.

This is the Methodist Church in Nueva Gerona, on La Isla de Juventud (The Isle of Youth), which is the large island on the south and western side of the main island. This is where I taught the seminario.

This is my daughter Courtney and me in front of the church. She had a wonderful time and was loved by everyone.

One of the marble mountains that surrounds the town of Nueva Gerona.

The black sand beach on the Isle of Youth where we spent our last day having a "Cuban Luau." More pictures on that at a later date.

I have many experiences to share and will do so once a week (in-between other bloggings) until I (and likely you) have had enough.

All I have to say is that that place looks BEAUTIFUL. And you and your daughter look really happy there. I'm sure it was AMAZING. =D
